Mood Disorder Questionnaire (MDQ)
- A self-report questionnaire to aid in the diagnosis of bipolar affective disorder.
- It is used to screen for symptoms of affective disorders in oneself – it enables identification of people at risk of a CHAD diagnosis.
- However, it is only an adjunctive tool and is not a substitute for a medical examination – only a specialist psychiatrist can make a diagnosis.
Read the questions carefully and answer each one, then proceed to the result. Time to complete the questionnaire: 5 – 10 minutes.
